HealthSafe was established by Kevin McAfee who fell in love with New Zealand, and a New Zealander. Originally from Ireland, Kevin now lives in Auckland with his wife Lisa and their young family. After more than two decades of working within the Health and Safety and Facilities Management industries across New Zealand and the United Kingdom, it was a life changing event in Christchurch during the earthquakes that changed Kevin’s life significantly and is a major driver of why he wants to share his passion for protecting people.
The introduction of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 in New Zealand has meant that the key to compliance is to introduce and follow processes. Kevin's response to this is a vision of using technology to develop a simple and easy to use sign in system to aid compliance and to protect the people within businesses. Today, this system is known as SecurePass™ and it is the future of visitor and contractor management technology.
